Club Information

Currently the Club has over 80 swimming members, some swim competitively, some swim socially and some use the training to enhance other sports.  Club night at the swimming pool is Thursday 5.30pm – 9.00pm, when members will swim in various groups according to capability from 45 – 120 minutes.  Some of our competitive swimmers also train on the other weeknights.  Our swimmers enter all stages/abilities of competitions ranging from small mini-meets aimed at the young swimmers 7-10yr olds to the national level at 14yrs and over.

Any new swimmers wishing to try out, only need to be able to swim 4 lengths of the pool.  Please come along to the pool on a Thursday between 5.30 and 6.00pm and see one of the coaches.

As with all clubs, much of the organising and day to day functioning of the club is down to the adults and parents of the swimmers who give up their time.  We are always looking for new helpers and anyone interested is always welcome.  If you are attending a swimming gala as a spectator you can have no better view than as a time keeper!
